LOOM Light of Oneness operates as a charitable service, gathering artists who wish their "art" to reflect the need to restore the sacredness to the earth through thought, vision and creative projects: projects include video, poetry, literature, and educational ideas that are geared to foster a holistic global consciousness.
Our online initiative will give us an opportunity to connect with artists who have little exposure, and small upstart venues.
LOOM was conceived after 9/11 when we saw a need for a museum for contemporary mystical art: a venue to discuss art as it pertains to dreams, visions, and the kaleidoscopic world changes taking place before our very eyes.
Without the wherewithal to create a museum, the project was put on hold until an online presence could be established. This will give us an opportunity, over the next few years, to develop and ascertain if, indeed, it would be feasible to have a museum of mystical art in NYC. Or would it remain an online presence reaching out and connecting with others.
We are interested in connecting with the indigenous community as we feel they have the insight to guide us with their wisdom, to help reconnect us to nature.
